Losing a loved one can impact every aspect of our lives. We live in a culture where we're expected to take a week or two off and get back to business as normal. But anyone who has experienced a significant loss knows that that is not how grief works. When we lose someone so intrinsic to our lives and identities, we can be surrounded by people and still feel empty and alone. It's been said that "the only way to heal grief is to grieve." But it can be a long and lonely journey if the only tending you give your grief is "time and tears." There is much more that can be done support the grieving process and expedite both healing and relief. Similarly to trauma, grief is stored in our bodies as well as our minds. Therefore we need cognitive, physical, emotional, and spiritual and communal support to heal. Sangha Healing Circles address issues relevant to people who share a common challenge or experience. These sessions help small groups develop the skills and capacities to transform the impact of their shared experience on their lives. Members will gain perspective, validation, and support from each other. We also heal by witnessing each other's healing process. Sangha Healing Circles are a form of Collective Healing. What members gain from the group experience will not only impact them, but may also help them transform their relationships, families and communities. Sangha Healing Circle Format: - Small, intimate groups: 5 person minimum (8 max) - Online Pre-Entry Education - Six, 90 minute meetings online via Zoom - Meet twice for 3 months, (six sessions) What to Expect: 1. Pre-Entry Education: 30-60 minutes, before 1st meeting 2. Group Meetings: Centering > Discussion > Parts Work > Self Healing Ed. 3. Self Healing Tools: access to valuable articles, videos, practices, rituals 3. WhatsApp phone chat support for duration of program 4. Facebook Group (lifetime access)
